UPPSC Veterinary Officer & Other Posts Exam Date 2026 Released

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has officially released the exam date for the recruitment of Medical Officer & Various Group A and Group B posts, including Veterinary Officer. The examination is scheduled for October 03, 2026. Candidates who applied for the 2158 posts can now download their exam date notice from the official website.

Medical Officer, Community Health
  • Degree in Ayurveda or Unani Tib of a University established by law in India or a qualification recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto.

  • Registration as a Vaidya or a Hakeem with the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh.

  • At least six monthโ€™s Professional experience in State Ayurvedic, Unani or Allopathic Hospital or dispensary.

Veterinary Officer
  • A degree of Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) from a University established by law in India or a degree recognised by the Government.

Swasthya Shiksha Adhikari
  • A candidate for direct recruitment must possess a Masterโ€™s Degree from a recognised University in Sociology or any subject of Social Science.

Homoeopathic Medical Officer
  • A recognised degree in Homoeopathy, the duration of study of which is not less than five years according to its syllabus or course.

Inspector of Drugs
  • Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology or equivalent from a recognized University.

Dental Surgeon
  • A candidate for direct recruitment to the Service must possess at least B.D.S. (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Indian Dental Council.

Chikitsa Adhikari (Ayurveda)
  • A degree in Ayurveda of a University established by law in India or Five years degree or diploma in Ayurvedic of the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh.

  • Registration as a Vaidya with the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh and Atleast six months Professional experience of State Ayurvedic or Allopathic Hospital or dispensary.

Chikitsa Adhikari (Unani)
  • A degree in Unani Tib of a University established by law in India. or Five years degree or diploma in Unani Tib of the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh.

  • Registration as a Hakeem with the Board of Indian Medicine, Uttar Pradesh and At least six months Professional experience of State Unani or Allopathic Hospital or dispensary.

Chikitsa Adhikari (Homoeopathic)
  • A recognised degree in Homoeopathy, the duration of study of which is not less than five years according to its syllabus or course or A recognised Diploma in Homoeopathy, the duration of study of which is not less than four years according to its syllabus or course Provided that preference will be given to degree holders.

  • The applicant should be duly registered with the Homoeopathic Medicine Board, Uttar Pradesh.

Vetting Officer
  • Bachelor of Arts degree (with English Literature or Hindi Literature as one of the subjects) or Bachelor of Science degree or Bachelor of Commerce degree with a minimum 50% marks from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto, and, three years Bachelor of Laws degree with a minimum fifty percent marks from a University established by law in India.

Q 1: Is One Time Registration (O.T.R.) mandatory for applying to the UPPSC PCS & ACF/RFO Examination 2025?

Answer: Yes, it is mandatory for candidates to complete One Time Registration (O.T.R.) and obtain an O.T.R. Number before applying online. Candidates who have not obtained an O.T.R. Number may obtain it from the commission's website 72 hours before the submission of the online application.

Q 2: How many vacancies are available for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) and Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) Examination 2025?

Answer: Currently, there are about 200 vacancies for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination 2025 and 10 vacancies for the Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF). Vacancies for Range Forest Officer (RFO) will be included upon requisition. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease.

Q 3: What is the age limit for the UPPSC PCS & ACF/RFO Examination 2025?

Answer: Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed 40 years on July 01, 2025 (i.e., born between 2nd July, 1985 and 1st July, 2004). For PH candidates, the maximum age limit is 55 years (i.e., not born before 02 July, 1970).

Q 4: What is the physical standard for Assistant Conservator of Forest?

Answer: For Male candidates, minimum height is 163 cms and chest girth (fully expanded) is 84 cms with 5 cms expansion. For Female candidates, minimum height is 150 cms and chest girth (fully expanded) is 79 cms with 5 cms expansion. Relaxations apply for Scheduled Tribes and specific races.

Q 5: How many candidates will be declared successful for the Main Examination and Interview based on the Preliminary Examination results?

Answer: Fifteen times the number of vacancies will be declared successful for the Main Examination. Three times the number of vacancies will be called for the interview.
