JPSC JET Exam City Details 2026 Released

The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has announced the release of exam city details for the Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2025, conducted for Assistant Professor Admission. Candidates who applied for the JPSC JET Online Form 2025, which was open from September 16, 2025, to October 30, 2025, can now download their exam city details. The online examination is scheduled for April 24, 2026.

🎓 Post Qualifications - JPSC Jharkhand Eligibility Test (JET) 2026

  • Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (UR/EWS) in Master’s Degree or equivalent examination.

  • BC-I/ BC-II/ SC/ ST/ PwBD category candidates of Jharkhand state only who have secured at least 50% marks in Master’s degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this JET.

Q 1: Is there a correction window for the JET 2024 application?

Answer: Yes, a correction window for changes in particulars in the Online Application will be available from October 8, 2025, to October 10, 2025, until 05:00 PM.

Q 2: What is the validity of the JET Certificate?

Answer: The validity of the JET Certificate for eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor and admission in Ph.D. will be forever.

Q 3: What is the mode of examination for JET 2024?

Answer: The examination for JET 2024 will be conducted in OMR (pen and paper) mode only.

Q 4: What is the structure of the JET 2024 examination?

Answer: The Test will consist of two papers, both comprising objective type multiple-choice questions. Paper I has 50 questions for 100 marks, and Paper II has 100 questions for 200 marks. The total duration is 3 hours (180 minutes) without any break. All questions are compulsory.

Q 5: What is the marking scheme for JET 2024?

Answer: Each question carries 02 marks. For each correct response, candidates will get 02 marks. There is no negative marking for incorrect responses, and no marks will be given for unanswered/un-attempted questions.

Q 6: Is there an age limit for applying for JET 2024?

Answer: No, there is no upper age limit for applying for JET for Assistant Professor and Admission in Ph.D.
