  • Candidates B.Sc (Hons) Nursing / B.Sc Nursing / Diploma in Nursing Midwifery from Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council from any recognized Institute / University in India with Steno & Typing Knowledge will be eligible for this recruitment.

Q 1: What are the essential qualifications required for NORCET-10?

Answer: Candidates must possess a B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing or B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/state Nursing council recognized Institute/University, and be registered as Nurses & Midwife. Alternatively, a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing council recognized Institute/Board or Council, registered as Nurses & Midwife, and two years' experience in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.

Q 2: What is the age limit for applying to NORCET-10?

Answer: For all AIIMS, the age limit is between 18-30 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per details in General Conditions and Recruitment rules of respective Institutes/Hospitals. Age is counted on the last date of closing of the application form.

Q 3: What are the application fees for NORCET-10?

Answer: The application fee for General/OBC Candidates is Rs.3000/-. For SC/ST Candidates/EWS, it is Rs.2400/-. Persons with Disabilities are exempted from the fee.

Q 4: Is the application fee for NORCET-10 refundable?

Answer: Application fees once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances, except for SC/ST candidates who appear in the Examination, whose fees will be refunded after the declaration of results and verification of their SC/ST certificate.

Q 5: What are the important dates for NORCET-10 application and examination?

Answer: Online registration for application starts on February 24, 2026, and closes on March 16, 2026 (Upto 5:00 PM). The Online (CBT) for Stage I: NORCET Preliminary is on April 11, 2026 (Saturday), and the Online (CBT) for Stage II: NORCET Mains is on April 30, 2026 (Thursday).
